Easy Apple Crumble

All American as Apple Pie
~Easy Apple Crumble~

Step 1:
Heavily grease your baking pan

Step 2:
Add a little vanilla cake mix batter.
~enough to coat the bottom

Step 3:
Add apple pie filling.
If the pie filling you purchase is lack luster, add your own spices, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.

Step 4:
Add PIE CRUMBLES!
My pie crumble recipe is a "throw-stuff-in" kind of thing. ;)
Use flour, sugar, cinnamon, add to melted butter, and stir with fork until you get crumbles. Start out with equal parts of flour and sugar and mix to taste.

Bake at 350 until golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes or so.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and whip cream.
Yum!

Rustic Wedding Cake Ideas

Last wedding season, it seemed every cake was adorned with burlap!  Most of my weddings were rustic or shabby chic; two very hot trends in weddings right now.

Here is a look at some rustic and pretty wedding cake and cupcake ideas.  I had a lot of fun creating these desserts.

Sweet Shoppe Party #2!

Here's a look at a few more party ideas for a
   Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party!

Another look at the cake!
Fondant lollipops are a MUST with any sweet shoppe cake!

A clever way to display napkins, using favor boxes by Birthday Express!
Napkins and favor boxes by Birthday Express!

You don't need fancy tags, just grab the card stock, use your scrapbooking scissors, and cool ribbon.

This colorful candy display didn't make the final cut, but I do love it!  Simply display colorful lollipops on a bed of colorful candies.

Now isn't that SWEET! ;)

We made these letters out of foam board, then used Tacky Glue to glue on sprinkles and candy!

Guess how many gumdrops and candles game!

My sweet sprinkled cake pops!
Cookies and cupcakes don't need to be to elaborate.  Just use nice colors and pretty sprinkles.

We used more foam board to make these giant lollipops.  The sticks are plastic cake supports.
